Premium lager is hard to find in a can nowadays. But have no fear, one does not have to sacrifice quality for price. The first time I picked up a can of OG I was pleasantly surprised. I believe my exact words were 'hey, this isn't all that bad!'.
That was out at Fishwives, and you can't eat fried fish without canned beer. It's the law of the land as it pertains to the sea. None of this fancy brewed locally poured from a growler stuff, it's fried fish for heck's sake.
Other highlights:
It is the cheapest beer you can buy at Whole Food$. Usually by a factor of a dollar or more.
Ounce for ounce it's cheaper than most of the bottled water at Whole Food$ as well.
It tastes better than water, not buy much but it does.
The can looks basically the same way today as the original can did then. That goes a long way with me.
The tag line at one point was 'Aged that extra month!'.
As I am part Old, part German and wholly cheap, it's like they made it just for me.
