A. What a boring trip. There is little to nothing between Earth and Mars of interest except the Moon, and you would pass by that in the first 15 minutes of what is bound to be a multi-year long journey.
B. Almost every movie I can think of involving Mars and travel to Mars ends poorly for a majority of those who go.
C. I would never get there anyway. I am the worst navigator in the history of navigation. I can hardly find the darn Grocery Store that's 2 miles down the road.
D. By the time I get there I would be so old and such a drag on what is bound to be a very fragile society that they would take one look at me and turn me into fertilizer immediately upon entry.
